To save time, you may prepay the following service and schedule an appointment to take the Firearms Safety Certicate (FSC) test at our location. This test is required for all handgun purchases, even if you have a CA Hunting License. However, if you are a licensed hunter you may purchase a long gun as long as you have a valid CA Hunting License.
We have a CA DOJ Certified Instructor on staff and can administer a test and issue an FSC which is required to purchase a firearm.
Fees:
• Firearms Safety Card (FSC) Issuing Fee $15
• FSC Written Test $10
We recommend that you review FSC Study Guide below so you pass the test on your first attempt. The test has 30 questions and you need a passing score of 75% or better. If you do not pass, you are permitted to re-test after 24 hours has elapsed.
